Basically, I agree with your suggestions for the 1.x releases, but I 
would not desupport 1.0. Keep in mind that it's currently the only 
stable and officially released branch. Also 1.1 uses different 
site-packages and does not run on Py 2.3. So we should continue to 
maintain 1.0 for quite a while. This will also strengthen confidence 
that TG is a stable platform.

Concerning 1.1, unfortunately several goals defined in 
http://docs.turbogears.org/1.1/DevPlans have not been reached yet. 
Probably most of us were just too busy with other things or already 
working on 2.0. So I feel 1.1 is still half-baked. But I agree we should 
make a release anyway, since it is not foreseeable if and when these 
goals will be achieved.
