Paul, Thanks for your remarks, and explaining the difficulties of making the choice to support the TG philosophy. To the below comment, I ask, if we don't defer to the upstream package's documentation, what alternatives do we have? Our team really lacks the resources to keep multiple copies of documentation up to date. Again, Jorge pointed out intersphinx, and I was the first to adopt this in my docs, and have included references to outside packages wherever I could. Sphinx is a boon to TG, and we will continue to pursue the effort of linking our docs to that from outside TG's sandbox.
