That sounds like a good use of your time, I think. I've just completed a small set of set up tasks that will finally let me work on the docs, rather than working on stuff to work on the docs.
I've also included all the notes from my own scratchpad that I was maintaining as I got ready for this undertaking. It's all in there now. I've updated the html docs.
