Interesting! I once thought of something similar... something similar  
to google's start rating system but that would allow us to view  
reports based on those ratings and classify posts by category.

IIRC there was already a TG tagging application which shouldn't be  
too hard to adapt for this (at least the initial tagging, we can  
later implement the reports, etc). Anyone rememeber it's name or  
could provide a url? We'd also need someone sufficiently fluent with  
JS to implement the bookmarklets and a place to host this  
(tags.turbogears.org @ webfaction could be a good place). Anyone  
wants to volunteer for this?
