No, communism would be Guido licensing Python such that only
SQLAlchemy could be used with it. ;)

Just because I think people should be allowed to make yet another orm
doesn't mean I think it's in everyone's best interests to do so. Let's
take the turbogears community as an example. I don't think anyone
would disagree that a large part of the barrier-to-entry for new
developers is the "do I use kid or genshi? sqlobject or sqlalchemy?"
decisions. Now, here we have it again: "Will Storm take the ORM crown
from SQLAlchemy?"

Personally, I don't want yet another confusing, backwards-incompatible
migration lurching toward the greener grass. I'd rather see the
obviously talented Canonical developers contributing code back to an
existing, established codebase.
