I'm sorry but more than 90% of the today's recording "artists" lack "genuine 
passion, uniqueness of vocal quality and style, and great original material." 
And >90% IS "industry-processed pap" (with an emphasis on the "processed" 
because it has to be processed or it would sound even worse).

I get it, but again, let me interject that technical expertise and a powerful 
and/or trained voice don't mean that much when it comes to great rock and pop, 
whereas genuine passion, uniqueness of vocal quality and style, and great 
original material (rather than industry- processed pap) mean plenty.

"American Idol." Meh.
