You know, I was going to disagree with Kevin here, as I felt that at the least Dave owed Willow and Bristol the apology. (Not really for Sarah, Todd or anyone else since the joke didn't hurt them at all... and well, the Palin's continual harping on the joke is more than likely doing more to humiliate the children than that that throwaway joke) But then, I read the second, incredibly gracious apology posted at Newsday ( http://tinyurl.com/lettermanapology2009Jun15 ) and the very first comment (by a "SCOTT Naumoff" ) left is pretty much representative of how the prosecutors have reacted.
