As soon as Sarah Palin publicly apologizes to her children for using
them as media tools, maybe I would begin to consider it reasonable for
Letterman to consider privately apologizing to her kids. Come to think
of it, I can't recall the last time a conservative figure apologized
for anything.

Letterman's apology was to appease the extreme right who worship Palin
as if she is the God she claims to believe in. It made me sick to my
stomach to see a comic bowing down and kissing their feet. I think a
lot less highly of Letterman today, and I think America is in serious
peril if these extremists continue to use their power and influence to
silence dissenting voices.
