I attended a taping of 'Donnymid' back in the day. Osmond had a great
attitude and was clearly enjoying himself but, at the same time, he
seemed distant when it came to the game at hand. As a previous poster
mentioned, he was nothing more than a traffic cop, and even then, he
wouldn't step in when a celebrity pretty much took control of the game
and did their own thing.

The show was also a pain in the butt to tape. I attended a taping of
J! before Donnymid, and it took more time to tape one Donnymid episode
than three J! shows.

In regards to the pilot -- keep in mind that CBS is (apparently)
considering three game shows for (we presume) two slots -- Pyramid,
LMAD and The Dating Game (the pilot for which tapes today in NYC with
Paige Davis hosting).
