This is a related story on B&C about how the affiliates feel about the JLS. The title is a bit misleading, unless "standing by" the show simply means they are not demanding that the show be canceled after 7 weeks. What they did say is that they will re-evaluate it after November sweeps - which seems ominous - on what theory do they expect Leno's ratings to go up during sweeps? I thought his ratings were supposed to go up during reruns. It is not in the affiliates interest to talk down the show right now.
