If Conan had any leverage, that would probably be the thing to do; go back to the small studio in 30 Rock, do the show live, and do what they can to shake things up. He's never seemed comfortable toning things down for 11:35, so why not go guerrilla and make the show something people talk about, rather than the bland whatever it is? I'm still surprised none of the late night shows is trying to regain that "outsiders taking over the network" feel that Dave's "Late Night" had. --Dake Sikula
