Carson produced the popular show "Amen" for NBC for about 6 or 7 seasons, if
memory serves.

But it's not like prime time success is a given. Most pilots fail, most
series fail. Conan has had 2 shows, two failures. Doesn't mean he will
always fail. Carson didn't produce much either outside of the shows we've
mentioned.
