Deggan is on to something in his last graphs (Below)

One of the things that came out today was that Conan's contract requires
that he be the host of a show called "The Tonight Show", but allows NBC to
start it as late as 12:05. It was a mistake for Conan to agree with this
provision, and now it gives him almost no moves. NBC has apparently said
that it would not prevent Conan from leaving and doing a show somewhere else
(though who knows with what kind of waiting period?), but to do so he will
have to leave a shit load of cash on the table - much more than he could get
from someplace like Fox.

Tell you what; if I ever do get into showbusiness, I want Leno's lawyer."
