I wonder, Donz, how you think this is going to impact Dave? Early betting I
have seen so far is that (assuming Leno and Coco go for it), Leno will get
better ratings at 11:35 than Conan, but not as good as he was getting
before. The first half hour of Coco at 12:05 could either do better than the
2nd half hour does now (since the monologue and comedy bits are most
popular) or worse (since his monologue will be sloppy seconds to Leno). CBS
yesterday said they felt good about Dave's audience regardless of what
happens at NNC, but that may have been bravado. Also, if Conan does
eventually go to Fox (though that seems less likely than it once did, and
ABC seems like a non-starter) it will further fractionate the 11:35
audience, which has to lower Dave's ratings.
