Though you are exactly right, when I tell him that Spike is in some TW episodes it may change his mind. The bisexuality of the Captain was a bit of a shocker to him when it was referenced in DW, but it was a welcome teachable moment and my son handled it pretty well, though I think he is still perplexed by it. It was funny because he has been going to the Pride Parade and other such events for most of his life and doesn't seem to have much of the homophobia typical of his gender and stage in life, but the bisexuality part did not fit easily into any category he had. If there are any episodes with the Captain and Spike making out that might be a bit of a paradigm changer for him. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
