It's getting tougher to get around the main floor of the house, even
though mom is still bedbound. The home-care people are bringing in
other things to go with the bed, and we'll have to move things to make
room for them, including the old bed, which will have to end up
upstairs.

The kitchen table has to hold certain things we keep track of every
day, and it just isn't big enough to make it easy. It's only going to
get worse when she'll be mobile enough to want to sit there again.

Cooking dinner, something I've been made to do most of before her
injury, is a bigger hassle; I can't completely transition back from
the just-me-and-dad sitch when she was in the center, and have to
remember what we got for her before that. She really can't eat much
anymore for fear of making it harder for Our Friend The Nurse (kid
bro's housemate), but that's not making it any easier; she has to have
drinks, and has to have the telly on nearly all day.
