It is very tense here. No home nurse was called nor showed up. ISTR Mom saying she was going to have her MD [female, but not per se a geriatrician] arrange for one separately, but neither of them think she'll be at all reachable till Monday anyway.
Two grab bars to help Mom get into the downstairs bathroom were finally installed by Dad after she finally managed to explain where they were to be put (one left of the door in a narrow spot next to the pantry door, the other on the right side of the door frame inside, beyond where the door hinges) This is obviously a rock/hard place sitch... they couldn't keep her any longer in the center, but if her frickin' MD had been a lot more diligent, she could have arranged for another facility to take over.
