The one thing the new open shines a light on - in a big way - is how dated some of the other commonly-used VTR elements are. On Monday or Tuesday, the Top 10 lead-in graphic was the Space Shuttle flying through various locations in Manhattan; the Times Square shot clearly includes the huge neon Fleet Bank sign that lived on the southwest corner of 46th and Broadway, at the Marriott Marquis. The sign is still there, but it's been long-since rebranded as BoA, which bought Fleet over a decade ago.
