Gaga was far more game than most non-acting hosts - she showed a remarkable
self-awareness and willingness to play with her own image (which further
reinforces her "it's all just performance art" schtick). In many ways her turn
as SNL host was reminiscent of Madonna's appearance into the early 90's ("Wow,
look at the unit on that guy.")
