I am a reluctant viewer of Scandal and find myself irritated with Washington's performance on that show often (though mostly it is the scripted dialogue that bugs me) but I have enjoyed her work in films and in that SNL episode she had her full range on display, and it was fabulous. For my money the bit with black people talking about are they still fans of Obama (I forget now the actual title) was laugh out loud hilarious, and Washington's characterization and timing was spot on. I do hope that maybe they have exhausted the pop singer as guest host vein for a while (though I'm sure one of The Voice" guys will be hosting soon). -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
