I don't hate Moynihan; I just don't think he's funny. Of course, in this 
cast, that doesn't really distinguish him ...

As far as his Rob Ford goes, yes, it was good, but (as I mentioned on FB) 
the problem with doing a parody of a lunatic is that you can't take it far 
enough to make it implausible. There's almost literally nothing he could 
have done that would have been so absurd that Ford himself couldn't have 
done it. The only approach that might have worked (IMO) is to have played 
him sane and straight and come up with illogically logical reasons for his 
actions. But that would have taken skilled comedy writers, a resource SNL 
usually lacks.
