When I saw Vierra filling in for Bobby instead of Lauer yesterday my first thought was what this means for the commitment of NBC to Guthrie (and, frankly, I had to look up her name to remember who the female host was). NBC has its biggest audience of the two-year period, and it chooses to feature Vierra alongside Lauer at the Opening Ceremonies, and spotlight her over Guthrie again with emergency prime-time host duties. That does not see too reassuring. -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People! You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TV or Not TV" group.
