I think there is no doubt that replacing Leno with Fallon is the right move right now (compared with the questionable judgement to replace Leno with Conan). When NBC chose Leno over Dave, they established that for them the defining criteria for the Tonight Show host was going to be who would make them the most money (as opposed to who would do the best job).
