If I may be so bold, I think Lorne is the Big Winner here. He now controls 11.5 weekly hours of NBC, extending and expanding his hegemony over their late night franchises. If nothing else, he's managed to place unfunny and unqualified people all over that network and Kabletown is perfectly delighted with the results.
