I like Sneakers too, though every time I watch it I find I am mostly
frustrated I am not watching "The Hot Rock" instead.

I was talking to my wife about Scorpion this morning (she just watched it
last night), and what came from that is a realization that I think it has a
"Scandal" problem - the show keeps telling you how super smart the
characters are supposed to be, but rarely do you seem them actually doing
anything super smart. I spent some time watching the first six seasons of
Top Chef this summer, and was reminded that the show does not spend very
much time commenting on how absurdly, ridiculously beautiful and sexy Padma
Lakshmi is - they just show her actually being absurdly, ridiculously
beautiful and sexy (one of the main reasons I bothered to go back and watch
the old episodes - I would not if the cast had been the same as season 1
all the way through). Shows about smart people need to take a note from Top
Chef.
