Brian Williams is my favorite news anchor and it saddens me to say this,but he has to go. This isn't something you misremember. Not when it adds to your glory. He started fibbing from day one with NBC's assistance. From day one they said something to the effect that Willaims was in danger. The facts as we understand it now is that the helicopter on front took fire and had to land. Williams was in a helicopter several minutes behind. If NBC had stated the facts from day one they would have avoided the lie. Instead, they started fibbing to embellish the cred of their anchor, or anchor-to-be. Willaims kept embellishing. If he hadn't been caught, on the trajectory he was going at his retirement ceremony he would have said he caught the rocket in his teeth. I wonder if he got outed because of all the facts coming out about Chris Kyle. As a sniper, Kyle was truly a hero in Iraq. But that wasn't enough for Kyle, who despite all his accomplishments made up stories about knocking out Jesse Ventura or killing two would-be carjackers and then giving authorities a number at the Pentagon where the defense department told them to leave Kyle alone.
