Loyalty is a punchline in show business. That Williams has performed well for NBC over the years doesn't matter to them if, right now, he is a liability. Here's the press release you won't read from NBC: "Brian Williams f*cked up, but he's our guy and has been our guy for years, so we're going to give him the benefit of the doubt and let him get back to doing his job, which -- recent evidence not withstanding -- he does better than most. We could quote scripture about he who has no sin casting stones, but instead we'll remind viewers that you vote with your remote controls. Maybe it is a mistake supporting our guy, and if it is you'll let us know in the only way that matters. In the meantime, we're going to get back to work." -- Kevin M. (RPCV) -- -- TV or Not TV ....
