I have no idea when they recorded the segment with Dickerson, but the segment
tonight with Simone Giertz was taped in June.
The promo for tonight's show covers whether or not Dickerson will moderate a
debate. As those announcements were made today, I think you might have called
this.
As for the Wilmore interview, they talk a lot about their WHCD experiences as
well as The Nightly Show. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I'm happy to report that I was wrong, and Wilmore's visit to the Late Show was
reasonably substantive.
So now I'll complain that they've booked CBS News political director John
Dickerson for Friday. If they recorded it Thursday night, there's a decent
chance they'll miss something interesting during the day Friday.
