He is said to make $36 million and he is going to have a wealth management team that will invest some of that in real estate. Since real estate is not his main concern there has to be proof that he's bringing the HUD secretary on his show in order to affect housing policy in a way that profits him personally. But since he has wealth management people managing his real estate portfolio there's no reason he's getting professional advice from Michael Cohen and needs to keep the details suppressed under attorney/client privilege.
