Instead of the debate, I watched "The Little Mermaid" last night. I had never seen it. Sweet movie. Good songs. Check it out. I know at this point in life (I'll be 55 in a few days) that I need to get close to eight hours of sleep each night, so I should be in bed around 10. And I knew that watching Donald Trump for 90 minutes would raise my blood pressure so high that I would have a hard time falling asleep. The clips I saw on the news this morning, and the reaction to the debate I've read online, have convinced me that I made the right choice.
P.S. Last year on my birthday, my sister got me the blu-ray of "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World." I think I'll watch that one on election night. Seems appropriate.
