Thanks for the offer. I am using the 32 bit system. I have added the debian 3.1 sarge repository for getting the required software packages.
The Unix software I am trying to compile and install on my system is known as cwp su version41 is the latest. After unpacking in the src/portability directory find readme files for Linux, UBUNTU( and Linux Fedora ). In Fedora Small differences there inplace of -dev it is shown as -devl etc; I have one more issue. My wireless adapter dopes not work in the roaming mode while under windows os it shows available wireless ssids. Even after replacing the generic driver with the windows driver ( supplied by Linksys for wmp54G0) it is same. I have to provide essid to make it work.
