The errors shown are syslog entries. Nothing really amiss. In fact on my KDE dekstop i don't use HAL or DBUS at all. But that's because i compile my entire Desktop environment. You can try disabling the automounter and these service if possible. Check, if you still get those errors and perhaps even the freezeup alt sysrq c key press should lead us to the /var/log/dump file.
