Hmm, I'm unsure what do do about the !DM_USB code paths in ehci-mx6; I assume these exist for constrained SPLs that require USB support? Having a DM-based usbmisc_imx without DM_USB seems undesirable, but duplicating code between the existing and the new driver would make ehci-mx6 !DM_USB support even less maintainable.
