What are the SNRs\modulations like for the longer out ones?

We have been using both the 65’s and the 90’s. Like I said, they work really
well in our less than a mile areas, better than any sector would in fact.

While I can connect devices over a mile, the signals on the receive side of the
sector don’t meet our minimum qualifications for a connection. I think its a
gain issue on the horn. 10 Dbi just isn’t enough for long range PTMP at our
return signal requirements.

Chris,

Thanks for that feedback. I have a few questions. What horns are you using and
what CPE's are connected?

Customers are able to connect some devices over 10miles. For example using
Airgrids or PBE400's on 30deg Horns. We had someone with a 30deg Horn and
RocketM5 connect to a NSM5LOCO at almost 3 miles.

I use the feed horns as well, they work great up close, but as you get
farther out, more than a mile, they start to have issues I've found.

How far are you connecting you're your devices at?

Evan,

Yes you have the correct pairing, we just converted a tower site from 4
Prism's on the UB Titanium sectors to the RF Elements 30deg horns.
Greatly reduced the noise floor by going to the 30deg which gave us higher
SNR and more 8x rates. doing an ABC channel config until UB actually gets
the GPS sync on the Prisms working. Total capacity on the tower now is
over 2 GBps.
