On a scale of 1 to Crazy, why are we letting the dozens of embedded
projects pass on this one when, as a distribution, that's something we'd
generally put our foot down pretty hard about? Is there a commitment
from upstream that they will so stable security updates and make sure
things stay good on their end? That would be lovely, but it's not
usually the Google way, and I fear we'll end up being forced to track
their latest versions in our stable releases, with whatever new shiny
they decide to bundle with it.
