Your main.cf seems to have postfix setup in a chroot (the last "y" in
the main.cf lines for each process), shouldn't this socket be in the
postfix chroot then?

 lmtp unix - - y - - lmtp

I just checked and that is the default in noble's postfix indeed.


The /proc/$PIDOFLMTP/root entry should tell if the lmtp process is chrooted or 
not.
