If you are affected by this issue, one fix is to sudo apt remove libpeas-1.0-0 sudo apt-mark hold libpeas-1.0-0
That will uninstall some apps which you can install again later once they no longer depend on libpeas-1.0-0. Once this issue is fully fixed, you can run an unhold command. (It doesn't hurt anything to leave that hold there though.) Alternatively, you'd need to download and uninstall gir1.2-peas-1.0 1.36.0-8build1 and then you can uninstall libpeas-1.0-1. You'd probably want to temporarily apt-mark hold gir1.2-peas-1.0 until libpeas-1.0-0 is uninstallable like normal. This technique is more complicated than the other fix. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libpeas/1.36.0-8build1 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2141258 Title: package libpeas-1.0-1 failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpeas-1.0/loaders/libpython3loader.so' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libpeas/+bug/2141258/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
