If you are affected by this issue, one fix is to

sudo apt remove libpeas-1.0-0
sudo apt-mark hold libpeas-1.0-0

That will uninstall some apps which you can install again later once
they no longer depend on libpeas-1.0-0. Once this issue is fully fixed,
you can run an unhold command. (It doesn't hurt anything to leave that
hold there though.)

Alternatively, you'd need to download and uninstall gir1.2-peas-1.0 
1.36.0-8build1 and then you can uninstall libpeas-1.0-1. You'd probably want to 
temporarily apt-mark hold gir1.2-peas-1.0 until libpeas-1.0-0 is uninstallable 
like normal. This technique is more complicated than the other fix.
