Thanks, that is exactly what I needed. Your output confirms the same bug: the ELAN interrupt count rises by ~620 per second while idle, same as mine. You are on the same board (8DA1) with an older BIOS (F.10) and a different digitizer revision (04F3:43EF), so the firmware bug exists across BIOS versions and panel variants. The kernel patch already covers your machine: it matches the ELAN2514 ACPI device on board 8DA1, independent of the 43EF/43F0 product ID. If you would be willing to test it, that would help get it merged. Which distribution and kernel are you running (uname -r), and is Secure Boot enabled? I can then tell you the easiest way to try it, ideally without building a kernel yourself. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2142384 Title: ELAN2514:00 (04F3:4428) stylus report rate extremely low (~10–25 Hz) on Ubuntu 24.04 kernel 6.17 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2142384/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
