$ sudo hp-touch-irq-fix verify

routing bit       : 1 (want 1)
idle IRQ rate : 0/s (want ~0; hands off the screen)

RESULT: PASS

A quick side note:
After installing the fix, my kernel was updated (a simple dnf update), and gave
me this little error message. Apart form that, the system is working fine, and
the pen too.

Complete!

Importantly, before I tried your updated fix, I had tried your original
fix, which failed. After it failed, I created the missing directory
manually with

sudo mkdir -p
/boot/efi/77ec2258cf66420dbf1acd59aaf7a5e1/7.3.0-0.rc0.260828.1b78070a.313.vanilla.fc44.x86_64

Then I ran your fix again, which still produced some error message. All
this was before your fix received its update.

What I am trying to say is that the error message might be there because
of me creating that directory.

If you need more info or testing on firmware F.10 (I was about to upgrade but
haven't done so yet), simply let me know.
