Umm Selected the link file because the real file not present. Upgrade
proceeded for some time and then:

Installing new version of config file /etc/update-motd.d/10-help-text…
Updating /etc/profile to current default.
Updating /root/.profile to current default.
motd-news.service is a disabled or a static unit not running, not starting it.
