Hi :) I imagine that people would click through at least the first 3 without really even seeing them just to get a flavour of what is likely to be involved. So if the 3rd and 4th ones are fairly trivial then it might help. However if the strings are all tooo trivial then they might feel that a trained monkey could do the job and would look for something more interesting to challenge them

Thanks John for your useful feedback. There have been a couple of similar suggestions (or at least in that direction) in the translators list. This would require non-trivial development work in Launchpad, i.e. implementing a new feature. As with other technical requests, if you've got any further ideas regarding the implementation, I'd suggest opening a separate thread either in ubuntu-translators or launchpad-dev and take it from there.
