well, if you say your ubuntu is still running u won't need the live cd
then,, try fixing grub from ubuntu itself, luckylessly, it's easy to do such
thing in lilo,, just run "lilo" in a command line, but with grub,, I dunno
at all

try googling for "fix windows grub" you should find lots of answers on
ubuntu or linux communities
