I’m seeing the same to Exchange online.

I have raised a case with Microsoft but have been told it could 24 hours before 
they look at it!

It does look suspiciously like they are preferring an alternative route back to 
us but is interesting that hop number 4 in your trace is ok – I see the same in 
my trace.

They may well be shaping ICMP but the fact we have customers having problems 
with O365 suggest the latency is a real issue.
