Hi,

A final update on this situation. I wasn’t planning on commenting further, but
after continued (and now failed) discussions, the provider have refused to
concede that this is a miss-sold product. So I thought it worthwhile sharing
the following information with the list as you could also be at risk without
realising, particularly if you rent space from the same company.

They have now stated that whilst it is 'not impossible' to deliver, it is 'very
rare' - and we (Custodian) will incur significant costs if they do this for us.

Remember, our invoice _already_ states "Dual Redundant Power Feeds" (along with
a significant monthly charge) so we don’t see this as something which should
cost us even more.

The overwhelming response from this list (both publicly and in private) was
that this is not what we have been sold; and we are indeed correct to be
frustrated. There were also several comments made by others about them being a
"2-bit provider" and essentially not being a reputable company. So whilst I
can't really comment either way on that, I do believe it is in the list's
interest that I point out that the provider is Level3 / CenturyLink - in London.

Some of you may be surprised by this (some may not, who knows) - but
regardless, if you have cabs with them and you are paying extra for "Dual
Redundant Power Feeds" for every rack, then I urge you to clarify what you
have, if nothing else.

Cheers,

Robert Williams
