Don't all overwhelm the sites at once, but here is
the documentation people are looking for:

Paraguay has published a lot of stamps with bird themes.

If you look at the 1983 series of South American birds,
you will see that they were using "Gs." for guaranes on
the stamps then. The 1985 Audubon series also shows "Gs."

The 1995 series of the Neo-tropical ornothological congress
shows a capital G with a slash overlay.

The 1969 series of Latin American wildlife shows a capital
G with a vertical bar overlay.

The 1934 yellow-headed caracara is "80 centavos", so that
doesn't help. ;-)

Lots of examples from 1962 (G with vertical bar overlay),
1965, 1993, 1994 (G with slash overlay).

I'm sure dedicated philatelists can turn up more examples.

Stamps are pretty indubitably examples of publications from
the country in question, though they are about the
miniest of mini-publications.
