Don't all overwhelm the sites at once, but here is the documentation people are looking for:

If you look at the 1983 series of South American birds, you will see that they were using "Gs." for guaran�es on the stamps then. The 1985 Audubon series also shows "Gs." The 1995 series of the Neo-tropical ornothological congress shows a capital G with a slash overlay. The 1969 series of Latin American wildlife shows a capital G with a vertical bar overlay. I'm sure dedicated philatelists can turn up more examples. Stamps are pretty indubitably examples of publications from the country in question, though they are about the miniest of mini-publications. --Ken
