Another thought, grappling for it would be just pure luck retrieving it as
the grapple will catch everything but what you want.

Do you have any friends that scuba dive or ask a dive shop if they know
anyone that would do it for you. You would have a lot better chance finding
it.

Kerry, I've read this thread so far and I can't help asking how you know the
line was cut?  And if so, maybe the chain and anchor are still down there.
I understand that your windless isn't working, but since you are the only
one that knows the location maybe grappling for it (as someone else
suggested) is worth the effort.  Just a thought.

Well.the anchor and chain are gone.  300ft of 3/8" chain and a 45# anchor.
Someone cut the line and took the fender.  You guys called it.  Saturday
night I was talking to a vessel assist guy and he said another 42ft Uniflite
called in that they were taking on water.  Anyone on this list?  Anyway, I
am on the hunt for a new anchor. Should I stuck to traditional CQR or go
with a Delta or Rocna?
