I don't think I am going to grapple for it. It feels a lot like that game you see in old school bowling alleys with the claw that you drop down to catch stuffed toy of some sort. You have a 1:100 chance of catching the thing. I do have a couple of friends that dive. Maybe I will ask them to go take a look with me. Good idea.

Do you have any friends that scuba dive or ask a dive shop if they know anyone that would do it for you. You would have a lot better chance finding it. And if so, maybe the chain and anchor are still down there. I understand that your windless isn't working, but since you are the only one that knows the location maybe grappling for it (as someone else suggested) is worth the effort. Just a thought. Someone cut the line and took the fender. You guys called it. Saturday night I was talking to a vessel assist guy and he said another 42ft Uniflite called in that they were taking on water. Anyone on this list? Anyway, I am on the hunt for a new anchor. Should I stuck to traditional CQR or go with a Delta or Rocna? Kerry </table No virus found in this incoming message.
