Bob that depends. What is the break point for the breaker compared the fuse
that it came with? If you can wire it into a breaker that is the same
voltage as your fuse is rated at, you don't need the inline fuse.

Subject: [UnifliteWorld] Fuse question

I installed a new freshwater pump and it came with an automotive type
fuse holder (square fuse with 2 prongs) Anyway the fuse does not make
adequate contact and cuts out until it's wiggled. I have given up on
the set up. My question is. do I need an in line fuse when it is wired
thru the dc panel with a separate breaker. If I can hard wire it in I
will, otherwise I will get a traditional fuse holder to replace it.

Thanks.
