Bob,
On the instruction manual that came with the pump it will tell you what size
fuse or breaker it requires. If it is 15 AMP, look at the panel Breaker and
it will state the size of the breaker on the front or side of the panel
breaker. If it is 25A, it is too big. You can either replace it with a 15A
breaker (If it is only protecting the pump) or you can put an in line fuse
BEFORE the panel breaker.

Thanks but I still am not sure what rated means. You are talking to a

So here is what I know. The dc panel breaker appears to be 25 amps and
the in-line pump fuse is 15amps.

Should I put another 15 amp traditional fuse in line to replace the
one I have?
