Hi, I assume that your lower helm arrangement  is the same as on my
31' uni. Meaning you swing the hole thing back.

If that's the case you should find the hull number somewhere behind
the helm should be something like 27ss71xxx, means 27ft sport sedan
built in 1971 and xxx is the actual hull produced that year.
I get somewhat like 25 knots WOT and cruise around 18-20 knots@ 3500
anyway most of the time I enjoy the the ride @ 1500 rpm @ 7.5 knots at
this setting I use around 3.5 gph which isn't to bad.
The 31' uni's are 12500 lbs you should be lighter so acordingly you
might get a little more out of your's.

Make sure everything has lube and work's and enjoy, uni's are really a
little bit overbuild but that's the reason that they take serious
weather better than other's.
